Dancing Freedom

Dancing Freedom is a movement meditation that invites people to drop out of their minds and into our bodies to unwind and open to inner wisdom. It is an opportunity to connect deeply with self and others in fun ways words cannot express. Participants are invited to journey through an ecstatic wave of world and contemporary beats and rhythms; surfing our way into the integration of embodied expression and mindfulness. Participants then experience a tribal feeling that is nourishing, builds social and emotional intelligence, breakthrough mental limitations and opens to a new level of connection and awareness. No dance experience required.

Of similar resonance as the 5 Rhythms practice, Dancing Freedom takes people on a transformative journey through the elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether. It has broad and deep foundations in Buddhism, Deep Ecology, Somatics and Shamanism.

The practice of Dancing Freedom takes people on a journey for 1 to 2 hours, through extended workshops. The experience is mostly non-verbal which opens participants’ ability to connect to a more subtle realm and meet one another regardless of their socio-cultural background.

No dance experience is necessary. The practice is accessible to all level of physical capacity.
