Dancing without Borders

Dear Bay Area Dancers,

Join a Dance Revolution! Dancing Without Borders is excited to take part in V-Day’s One Billion Rising campaign next week.We are rising in the spirit of Revolution, calling for an end to violence against women and girls! We invite you to Rise, Heal and DANCE together in community. For those of you who joined over the last two years, do you remember how exciting it was? Let’s do it again; for the earth, for ourselves, for each other and future generations. We’ll perform the One Billion Rising dance choreography by Debbie Allen, Break the Chain inside the Rotunda of San Francisco City Hall at lunch time on Thursday February 12, 2015. The flashmob will be filmed. If you prefer not to be filmed but wish to participate, that is possible too. We look forward to this being a stunning, healing, empowering & transformative community experience! As a participant, you’ll receive a beautiful Rising for Revolution t-shirt 🙂 This movement is expanded by each of us helping to spread the word. one billion is the number of women on this planet who have been abused or raped. That’s 1/3 of all women.
